Working alongside communities across Aotearoa

Working hand-in-hand with communities to strengthen disaster preparedness

Crisis Bunker was established as a Māori-led impact enterprise with supporting marae, hapū and iwi sitting at the heart of our kaupapa.

Since then our work has expanded to support communities and organisations of all kinds across Aotearoa. From households and schools to community centres, councils and national organisations, we work alongside groups who want to strengthen emergency preparedness and resilience.

Our projects range from household emergency backpacks to large-scale resilience hubs supporting entire communities. Whatever the scale, our goal is the same, helping communities prepare, respond and recover together.

Alongside communities, we also work with Civil Defence Emergency Management offices, councils and response organisations to ensure resilience initiatives align with local emergency planning and community response frameworks.
