RESILIENCE LOCKERS

Emergency disaster protection for when disaster strikes

Fully stocked, lockable cabinets designed to keep your workplace, marae, or community prepared for disaster

Civil Defence recommends that workplaces, marae, and community facilities are equipped to support people for at least 72 hours during a major disaster. Having essential resources on hand can make a critical difference when emergency services are stretched or delayed.

Crisis Bunker’s Resilience Lockers are secure steel cabinets designed to store emergency equipment, welfare supplies, and critical resources in one easily accessible location. Built for New Zealand conditions and stocked with carefully selected emergency supplies, they give workplaces and communities the tools they need to respond safely and support people when it matters most

Trusted by communities who take preparedness seriously

In an emergency, the difference between panic and action often comes down to preparation. Having essential resources ready, organised, and easy to access can help protect people, support decision making, and reduce chaos in the critical early hours.

This video shares why practical preparedness matters from the perspective of a school leader who understands the importance of being ready before disaster strikes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We considered the most common emergencies faced in Aotearoa — earthquakes, flooding, tsunamis, wildfires, volcanoes, cyclones, tornadoes, evacuations, and shelter-in-place orders — and designed the Resilience Lockers to provide practical support for each scenario. Unlike backpacks, which are built to be lightweight and portable, the lockers offer a larger, fixed cache of resources to sustain groups for longer. Each locker is a strong foundation for preparedness, and you can personalise it further with additional supplies to suit your community’s needs.

Lockers are available in three different sizes, starting from 1680mm (H) x 760 mm (W). You can find the exact dimensions under each Resilience Locker option.

We’ve stocked the Resilience Lockers with components that have a minimum 5-year shelf life when stored in a cool, dry environment (with the exception of hygiene supplies, which should be rotated every couple of years). We offer a replenishment service to replace any expiring items with fresh stock for a nominal fee. Before your 5-year purchase anniversary, we’ll be in touch to discuss renewal. If you need to replace anything earlier, just reach out to us by email or live chat.

Crisis Bunker Headquarters are located at 2A Ashley Place, Papamoa, Bay of Plenty.

We deliver and install Resilience Lockers directly from our Papamoa warehouse across New Zealand, including rural locations. Our team handles delivery and installation on-site, and in most cases this is completed within two weeks of your order. Please note we do not ship lockers outside of New Zealand.
