Where is Crisis Bunker located

Crisis Bunker is a division of Resilience Group, owned and operated by Kiwi's located in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, NZ.
Our Warehouse and offices are located at 8 / 38 Ashley Place, Papamoa Beach, Tauranga 3118

Where did the idea for Crisis Bunker come from?

Despite pushes from government agencies, media and insurance companies Kiwi households have largely not heeded advice to create their own Emergency grab and go bags.  And who can blame them when you need to do lots of research on items required and buying from dozens of different stores just to fill your bag up.  We wanted to solve this issue so Crisis Bunker has done the hard work & research and compiled a backpack full of all items that will cover most crisis situations that could arise so households can buy a prepacked backpack with everything they will need in a disaster.

How did you decide what to put into your backpacks?

We took advice from experts such as Civil Defence and NEMA (National Emergency Management agency) to pack as many essential supplies into our backpacks as we could. We tested each item to ensure that it meet our standard for use in a disaster. Everyone's situation will be different so we include guidance on what extra pieces you might want to add to your pack. An essential piece of an Emergency backpack is having a robust, well communicated Emergency plan that the whole household knows so we also included a guided Emergency Planner for you to navigate with your famiily.

Where can I buy the Crisis Bunker Backpacks

We don't have a physical store rather we operate through our website and courier our Backpacks out to addresses across the country. You may see us at expo's and trade shows across NZ and you will have the option of picking one up from our stock at the show or getting it couriered out to you.
If you wish to discuss getting a Resilience Hub installed we will initially conduct a phone / video call consult and then visit you onsite to finalise.

What kind of disasters can your backpacks be used for

Our backpacks contain essential items to support you with Food, Water supplies, First Aid, Safety, Warmth, Tools and Communications which are the backbone for survival in just about any disaster situation. We looked at scenarios such a Earthquakes, Flooding, Tsunami, House Fires, Wildfires, Volcanoes, Cyclones, Tornadoes, Evacuations and Stay at Home orders and came up with a solution to counter each one. While the backpacks contain a lot of gear in them we made them lightweight and portable to be usable in more situations. The backpacks are designed to be a solid base that you can personalise with your own additions if you wish.

What makes Crisis Bunker different to other Pre-filled Emergency backpacks

Our heavy duty spacious 40L waterproof backpacks offer more storage and are higher quality than others available in NZ. We've ensured ample space to accommodate our extensive gear collection, the most comprehensive in New Zealand. Additionally, these backpacks provide extra room for storing clothing or additional items. For ease of access, we include two internal bags, ensuring effortless retrieval without the need to rummage through the entire pack. We also enclude a handbook in the front pocket which gives you expert advice on how to act during various diasters, how to get emergency communications and an Emergency planner.

Why shouldn't I just make my own Emergency Backpack?

First and foremost, convenience. We understand that life can get busy and finding the time to gather and pack all the necessary items in an emergency bag can be quite a challenge. That's where we come in. Our pre-filled emergency backpacks are carefully curated with essential items that you may need in case of an emergency. From first aid supplies to food and water, we've got you covered.
Secondly, quality. At Crisis Bunker, we take the quality of our products seriously. Each item in our pre-filled emergency backpacks has been handpicked for its durability and reliability. We want to ensure that you have the best tools at your disposal when it really matters. Our team of experts has done the research for you, so you can trust that you're getting top-notch gear.
Last but certainly not least, price. If you were to go and piece together a similar backpack yourself you would be hard pushed to beat our price for a pre-filled one.
Making your own Emergency backpack is a million times better than not having one at all so by all means go ahead and make one, you can even use our backpacks as a guide and we will even sell you an empty Waterproof Backpack to get you started ----> Buy a Backpack
