We have filled the backpacks with components that have a shelf life of a minimum 5 years if stored in a cool and dry environment. We offer a replenishment service where we will replace any expiring items with brand new items for a nominal fee. We will contact you prior to your 5 year purchase anniversary to discuss. Love!! Super excited when I received it. Everything is compacted together perfectly. Description of bag is true, lightweight and everything. I taste tested 1 of the high energy bars that come with it if chosen food and it’s not that bad, would recommend it. Taste like malt biscuits a little bit crumbly and dry so I would also suggest buying extras if you don’t want just that but overall worth the money. I bought 4 person.
